Birding at San Joaquin Marsh
Jeremy restarted his summer camp. I got to go pick him up one day and saw this Osprey. Taken with an iPhone 4s, handheld to his Zeiss Victory 8x32 binoculars. Cropped. No filters.
Super Moon!
Here's a photo of the so called "supermoon" of a couple of nights ago. I took it with my iPhone 4s, hand-holding it next to Minox 8x42 binoculars. I cropped and sharpened it, otherwise no other post-processing it. It took me about 3 hours (and a bunch of blurry pics) to finally get it!
Reading Club
Jeremy has finished Coma now; I still have about 125 pages to go. He's starting Dune tomorrow. This was his pick; it's certainly an intimidating book for me; we'll see how it goes...

Finished Fast Food Nation on 6/2 and started Jeremy's pick....He found out about through sciencethrillers.com, a website I had the pleasure of discovering earlier this year.
